    1. Our Commitment

    Planogrammer is built and operated by Goods (Lehmann Group LLC). We want everyone who interacts with Planogrammer — clients, partners, and prospective collaborators — to be able to use it effectively, regardless of ability or assistive technology. We treat accessibility as an ongoing part of the product, not a one-time checklist.

    2. Scope of the Product

    Planogrammer is currently designed and scoped for use by Goods and its active client engagements. It is not a publicly available subscription product. Access is provided through:

    • Direct engagements managed by the Goods team
    • Invited pilots with select retail and CPG partners
    • Ad-hoc projects executed on behalf of Goods clients

    Because access is intentionally scoped, every Planogrammer user is onboarded by a member of the Goods team. If a user requires an accommodation, we are able to support them directly — including by producing planogram outputs on their behalf when needed.

    3. Standards We Aim For

    For the public-facing marketing pages of planogrammer.com, we aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA, which is the de-facto standard referenced under the U.S. Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and the European Accessibility Act / EN 301 549 in the EU.

    For the in-product planogram editor, we apply the same principles wherever the user interface is text- or control-based (navigation, menus, dialogs, sidebars, forms). The 3D editing canvas itself has inherent limitations described below.

    4. Known Limitations

    We want to be transparent about the parts of Planogrammer that do not yet meet WCAG 2.1 AA, or that are inherently difficult to make fully accessible:

    • 3D Spatial Editor: The interactive 3D canvas used for placing fixtures and products relies on visual, pointer-driven manipulation. Like other professional spatial tools (CAD, BIM, 3D modeling software), it cannot today be fully represented to non-visual assistive technology.
    • Generated Visual Outputs: Rendered planograms, PNGs, and PDF exports are visual artifacts by design.
    • Color Contrast: A small number of secondary text styles on marketing pages may fall below the AA contrast ratio in certain themes. We are progressively improving these.

    5. Alternative Means of Access

    If any part of Planogrammer is not accessible to you, the Goods team is available to provide an alternative path. This may include:

    • Walking through the product with you over a live session
    • Building or modifying planograms on your behalf based on your inputs
    • Delivering finished outputs (images, PDFs, summaries) in a format that works for your tooling
    • Adjusting the workflow used for your specific engagement

    6. Accessibility Features Already in Place

    • Semantic HTML landmarks (header, nav, main, footer)
    • "Skip to main content" link for keyboard and screen reader users
    • Visible keyboard focus indicators
    • ARIA labels on interactive controls and navigation
    • Pause / Play control on the hero demonstration video
    • Respect for the operating system prefers-reduced-motion setting
    • Responsive layout that scales with browser zoom
